Designer Challenge Thursday ~

Good morning peeps! This is Leanne from CreatedbyLeanne! I hope you are having a wonderful week! Today is Designer Challenge Thursday and guess who's turn it is to host?!!! ME!!!! I decided for my challenge, I would do a sketch challenge! Here is the sketch...
Deadline for challenge is June 18th at midnight PST!

You know me, I LOVE simple! I thought this one would be a fun one to go by! I hope it inspires you to play along too!

For the background on my card, I've used MCT's Script Type Background stamp set. I stamped it first using CTMH ink in Desert Sand. I then used one of the flower images from the Bloom Where You Are Planted set and stamped (using CTMH Black ink) directly in the center! I used my copics to color. You may notice I didn't color the image completely in! I did that on purpose hee hee.

For the sentiment, I used the Thank You from the Floral Sentiment set. I also stamped the inside of my card using the So Grateful For You stamp set (for everything). I used CTMH Desert Sand again to stamp both sentiments. I'm sorry, I didn't get a photo of the inside :(

I hope you will play along with me using my sketch challenge! I can't wait to see what you come up with so be sure to link up below!! Thanks for looking! Hugs, Leanne

Emma (ME) ;)

Hello my creative friends! Isn't this challenge SUPER FUN? I hope to see LOTS of you participating!
Okay, for my card, I used several items (which are listed below) & my FAVORITE part is my little drink w/the straw! I made it using my coffee cup die & the lid from my stitched chunky jar dies! I show you in my video below how I put it together! I've been doing 2 layers w/my dies & I am LOVING how it looks!

I also used my sewing machine to do some stitching along the edges!

3-D Wednesday

Good morning my creative friends & welcome to another 3-D Wednesday! I had a question from someone who wanted an idea for a graduation invite! Soooo, since my Baby Aaron will be graduating as well, I'd thought I would come up w/something perfect for a boy! You can see in my video below exactly how this was made step by step!

I put the date at the bottom for the date that needs to be saved & instead of sending a separate invite, I decide to just go ahead & put all of the info on the back of each tag!

Since I will be hand delivering most of these, I thought they would look awesome to give in these super cute little glassine bags from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique!  I am very proud of how these turned out! ;)

Supplies used:

Here is my video for you today! :)

Scrapping the Little Things

GOOD MORNING & welcome to another "Scrapping the little things"! I hope you ALL had a GREAT weekend! Well, today I was happy to do a few pages in my smashbook! If I haven't mentioned before, I absolutely LOVE my smashbook because there are simply "NO RULES"! You can make these pages as simple OR more detail AND you can basically smashbook ANYTHING! When I first got my smashbook, I really wanted to document the little things that mean the MOST to me. I know, you are probably saying, "Why is she showing old Easter 2010 pics?" Why, it's because I just LOVE that my boys also appreciate the "little things" in life, just like their Mommy & Daddy! We can do something as simple as cook an AWESOME meal & watch a movie & at the end of the night, they say "That was FUN Mommy"!
I just HAD to smashbook these pictures because.....I just HAD to!;) This particular year "2010", Easter ALMOST didn't happen because the "Easter Bunny" was SOOOO SICK!:(  I remember I was in bed w/a fever & I had told the boys, "I heard the Easter Bunny was sick too!" & they said, "It's okay Mommy, the Easter Bunny has a BIG job & I am sure all the kids will forgive him if he doesn't visit any houses tonight!" OKAY, now how can you NOT come alive and do something, because that right there... was simply "priceless"! When the boys woke up Easter morning, they peeked in the backyard really slow & started yelling "Mommy, Daddy, the Easter Bunny DID come, poor guy, I hope he doesn't get more sick!"! Let's just say that I had 2 of the HAPPIEST boys on Easter morning! Just seeing those BEAUTIFUL smiles on their ADORABLE faces simple made my heart HAPPY!

Okay, onto my pages, for the title, I used my "Lower Case Fun Dies" (which I LOVE!). Of course, I had to use my new "Doily Dies" on BOTH pages along w/my Egg Dies from my "Hello Spring" stamp set! Both of the sentiments are from another easter/spring set called "Happy Hunting". The little banners I stamped the sentiments onto are from the "Vintage Label Dies". That green crinkly paper I actually had FOREVER in my stash & I finally used it! lol....

As you can see, I used more doilies and that cute tiny bunny coloring his Easter egg is also from "Happy  Hunting"! I used the number stamps from "Follow Your Dreams".

I tuck my cute little tag from "Just Tags" & stamped the little bunny from "Hello Spring" & drew lines on there myself for journaling. Then I just staple some green ribbon to it!  Isn't it the CUTEST journaling card ever? hehehe! I love it!

For today, my design team & I were all to use our new "Jar Dies" somewhere on our pages! I decided to stamp that bunny from "Happy Hunting" and add a piece of the doily to it to give it a different look & I LOVE how it turned out! I just glued the doily exactly where I wanted it, then cut off the excess. Again, the egg dies are from "Hello Spring" & the sentiment is from "Happy Hunting"!

All the papers I used were ALL from my SCRAPS!!! YEP, I was VERY PROUD of myself that I was able to make so many different papers actually "LOOK LIKE" they went together!;)

Now onto my FABULOUS design team. Don't forget to visit their blogs & leave them some L-O-V-E!

I hope you were ALL inspired to scrap something today! Don't forget we also have a NEW "FUN" challenge going on HERE! I  hope to see lots of you playing along~!

Thank you for stopping by & have a GREAT day my sweet friends! xoxo

MCT FEB. Sneak Peek #3

GOOD MORNING my sweet crafty friends! Sooo, how are you liking the sneaky peeks so far?  FUN....right? hehehe! Well, you are in for a TREAT today! Welcome to our 3rd day of sneaks & today we are showcasing 2 new products: "Stitched Chunky Jar Dies" & "Chunky Jar Accessories"! WOW, I had TONS of fun w/these! This is the first short little chunky jar that measures approx 2 1/2 inches all put together (w/o the handle) with the handle connected it measures approx 3 1/2 inches tall. I used clear cardstock/acetate & made a mini card that fits perfectly into my 3x3 envelope!  So, everything you see, the jar, the little material part, the lid, the layered tags & the stitched buttons are ALL NEW PRODUCTS!  This scissors & the labels are part of the "Chunky Jar Accessories"! This set consists of 20 stamps & 10 small dies.  And the "Stitched Chunky Jar Dies" consists of 2 jars, 2 lids, 2 handles & one material!  You are going to have a blast using these new dies! I have SOOOO many ideas running through my brain that, you haven't seen nothing yet!;)
As you can see in this pic, I made another liner for my envelope so it can match my cutie card perfectly!
If you watch my video today, I show you another cute way on how to close up my 3x3 envelopes using 2 brads just like you see here in my pic!
 Supplies I used:
~ Stitched Button Dies (soon to be released)
~ Stitched Chunky Jar Dies (soon to be released)
~ Chunky Jar Accessories (soon to be released)
~ My Mind's Eye "Notable" 6x6 paper pad
****************************************************************

Up next is this FUN Gift card holder!  For this  I used the shorter jar again, but only added the material and not the lid this time! Do you think those are REAL coffee beans?  Well, if you are thinking.."maybe", you are right! I hot glue gunned down the coffee beans & not only does this gift card holder smell YUMMY, but just think this person now has a giftcard to Starbuck's where she can go pick her self up a cup.. "on me"!;)  Isn't that little tag the CUTEST EVER?? That tag  along w/the sentiment is also included in the "Chunky Jar Accessories"!  I also used the "soon to be released "Stitched Button Dies"! I really kept this one super simple & I love how it came out!
Supplies I used:
~ Stitched Button Dies (soon to be released)
~ Stitched Chunky Jar Dies (soon to be released)
~ Chunky Jar Accessories (soon to be released)
*************************************************************

Okay, I just LOVE how this last card came out! I used  the new Teresa Collins  "Far and Away" 6x6 pad. For this card I used the taller chunky jar & this measures approx 3 1/4 inches tall & w/the handle it measures approx 4 3/4 inches tall.  What a precious card for a little princess to send her Daddy who is overseas or just away for work.  The inside of the card reads "Miss You".  You can make just about ANYTHING w/these fun new dies! Both set of laying labels AND the cute little sparkly crown are all included in the "Chunky Jar Accessories".
Supplies I used:
Teeny Tag Greetings (from your princess sentiment)
~ Here's Lookin at You (daddy sentiment)
~ Stitched Chunky Jar Dies (soon to be released)
~ Chunky Jar Accessories (soon to be released)
~ Teresa Collins "Far and Away" 6x6 paper pad
Here is my video for you today!
