Feb 10 – Made in Minutes Monday

Good morning my creative friends & welcome to another "Made in Minutes!"

Before we get to my AWESOME design team's projects, I just want to say "It's GOOD TO BE BACK!" I know I was only gone for a week, but it felt like FOREVER! Last week my whole family was sick :( It took a little bit to bounce back, but thankfully we all FINALLY did! I am happy I have my boys home today (holiday) just so they can have an extra day to rest & be ready for school this week! Thank you ALL for your sweet messages & emails you all sent me, they were GREATLY APPRECIATED my sweet friends! :) I ALSO want to say a HUGE "THANK YOU" for my design team who took over my blog while I was gone & did a FANTASTIC job! ;)

I have a LOT of catching up to do, so I wasn't able to make anything for today :( But I should be able to sneak into my craftroom tonight!

Feb 6 – MCT Designer Challenge

Good Morning!
and welcome to a new "Designer Challenge" If you are new to the MCT blog, we usually have a challenge every other Thursday. The design team & Emma all take turns hosting it! Today's challenge host is the very creative Miss Lee-Ann, her blog is Snappy Scraps.

The challenge for today is to use 8 My Creative Time products on your project. When I'm making a project I love to see how many MCT products I can use...I sometimes surprise myself. I decided to make another Valentine bag using a David's Tea store bag. This one is much smaller than the one I made last week. I also decided to add red to the colour mix...I think it really pops. Whatever Wednesday

Good morning creative friends and welcome to "Whatever Wednesday! Today is a day where the team get to makes whatever they want. I'm Veronica, the "Graphics Girl" for MCT and I blog over at VK Create.

If you've visited my blog lately, you know that I like to give my husband (The Hubs) a card or treat every day for the week leading up to Valentine's Day. This little 4.25" square card I made for him is simple, but packs a big punch.

There are a lot of awesome things about My Creative Time sentiment stamps, but one of my favorite things about them is that I can mix and match different sentiments to create my own one-of-a-kind stamp! I mixed the "LOVE" from Chocolate Greetings with the "Story" from Life is Good. It goes so perfectly with the storybook ending sentiment in my typewriter (both from Once Upon A Time... - along with the heart that is stamped multiple times).

I just love the simplicity of the colors and all the white space on this card. Creative people can be so afraid of white space, can't we? We worry that something looks too bare if we leave blank space, but I encourage you to learn to appreciate it! It's not empty, it's beautiful!!!
