Designer Challenge ~Monochromatic Color Challenge

Good morning my creative friends & welcome to another challenge!

Today Miss Cassandra chose this challenge to be a "Monochromatic" challenge! Today I decided to go w/an ALL white card! You can see in my video below how I created it!

SUPPLIES USED:

~ Flower Petal Dies

~ Build a Banner Kit

~ My Favorite Sayings

~ Heidi Swapp chevron stencil (Michael's)

~ White embossing paste

~ Tim Holtz Clear distressed glitter

~ Clear chunky glitter

CHALLENGE DETAILS:

- Make a project of your choice using different shades of just one color. (You can use a different color as your base or background - white, black, kraft; just make sure your focal point displays your monochromatic color choice).

- Deadline for this challenge will be on March 18th @ midnight!

- Link your projects up to Mr. Linky below

Whatever Wednesday

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome to another "Whatever Wednesday!"

Okay, I was on my way to my craft room last night & all of the sudden I hear a "Uh Oh"!!!!!!! It was one of my boys who forgot to do something that he thought was due on Thursday!!! So, of course, it's LATE & clearly he needed help! Of course, by the time we were done, I was no longer in a crafty mood! lol……. BECAUSE, after we are done, he actually reads his notes & IT'S NOT DUE TIL FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol….. I couldn't even be mad at him because I knew he was tired & so was I! I told him at least he doesn't have to worry about it anymore because it's DONE AND it's EARLY! right? ;) I am ALMOST POSITIVE LOTS of you Mom's heard the "Uh oh's" before, I don't think I am the ONLY one! hehehehe!

Very Clever and way better than the traditional brass frames. I love the color choices and the rolled flower is so pretty. Super job using the new products with the older ones.

Try Me Tuesday

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome to another "Try Me Tuesday"! Today, my team & myself were challenge to make something for my dies that they are "NOT" intended for!

If you are not sure what that means, here is my card above! I used my egg die from Hello Spring & ran it through my vagabond again using my Fun Stitch Edge die to make a tulip! So I basically turned my egg die into a tulip! I thought she came out SUPER SWEET! I also took that same edge die to make a border at the bottom of my card!

Made in Minutes Monday

Good morning my creative friends & welcome to another "Made in Minutes"! I ALSO have an AWESOME guest designer today too!

If you are new to my blog, every other Monday we feature Made in Minutes, meaning we are all challenged to make something under 20 minutes! Now we "ALLLL" know that it takes WAY MORE than 20 minutes to make something, at least for "Me" it does! So this day is ALWAYS challenging for me!

I was actually VERY PROUD of myself because my little 3x3 cards ONLY took me 10 minutes! It probably would've been less time if I had the hat cut out already! Remember I mentioned in my previous videos that I always have some pre-made 3x3 white card bases on my desk at ALL times? Well, this is when you NEEED those card bases to do something QUICK & CUTE like this! ;)
