Try Me Tuesday AND a "Guest Designer!"

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome to another "Try Me Tuesday!"

Today my AWESOME team has made some AMAZING projects for you! The technique they all are showcasing on their cards is "making your own stencil using dies!"

Before I continue, I want to introduce to you my super TALENTED "Guest Designer" Miss Jumi! Her blog is JJUMS-CAN:D where you can see how creative my sweet friend all the way from Korea really is! ;)

I want to call her project an "explosion box" & I think it came out simply "GORGEOUS" Miss Jumi!!! I can't believe how many products she used of mine & this still came out just STUNNING!

TRY ME TUESDAY – FAUX EMBOSSING

Good morning my sweet friends & welcome to another "Try Me Tuesday!" Today a few of my design team members & myself are trying a technique that is new to us which is "Faux Embossing!"

TRY ME TUESDAY

Good morning my sweet friends & welcome to another "Try Me Tuesday"! For today a few of my design team members & myself made some Washi Tape Twist Ties! I show you in my video how easy they are to make! First up, I made a card using one of the new techniques I learned on day 7 of the "Stretch Your Stamps 2" class HERE! I show you in my video below EXACTLY how I stamped my card! I just LOVE learning new things because I get bored VERY EASILY! ;)

Okay, here is what my Washi Tape Twist Tie looks like! Luckily I had some washi tape on hand to match my card set I made!

I used my home made twist tie to close up this set of cards I made as a gift for some one! I thought it would be extra cute to add a tag w/some twine to finish it off!

TRY ME TUESDAY

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends! I am SO SORRY that I don't have anything AGAIN for you today! :( I do have a valid reason….. ;) My Anthony had back to back championship baseball games last night! We didn't get home until 11pm last night! I was SO HAPPY for them because they came in 1st place!!! They are the "Summer League Champions!" I have to say, I don't know HOW these kids do it!!! It was 104 degrees out there & they STILL played their hearts out! Here is the picture of the team! Of course, my son is the smallest one sitting right smack dab in the middle front row! lol….. Isn't he ADORABLE? hehehe :) Look at all these smiles, by the end of the night "I" was EXHAUSTED & I felt like "I" played! lol….. The heat TOTALLY wore me out!

Well, once again, my design team has done any AMAZING job w/ALL of their BEAUTIFUL cards today! I am going to try this card out tomorrow w/a video so you can understand how everyone put these cards together! TRY ME TUESDAY

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome to another "Try Me Tuesday!"

Well, I do have to say that my design team member Miss Shar sure knows how to come up w/something NEW for us to try all the time! I do have to say that I was a LITTLE nervous about this particular card style, but ALL I have to say is that it is SUPER EASY!!!! Today we are all trying to make a "Box Card"! They were SO EASY to make that I made 2 of these cards AND I even show you how to make one in my video below!

In the pic above, you can see my card sideways! You can mail these because they will go flat so you can fit them into a standard size envelope if you want!

This next card is kind of a depressing card, but I had to make it for a sweet friend who just lost her fur baby :( I've said it in the past that I DISLIKE making sad cards, but my newest sets made it easy for me to do.

Here they both are! I really LOVE how BOTH of my cards turned out! I hope you try to make a box card of your own~! :)

TRY ME TUESDAY

GOOD Morning my sweet friends & welcome to another "Try Me Tuesday!"

I was a little skeptical about this technique at first, but once I figured out my colors of ink, this card was the QUICKEST card to make EVER!!! :) So, today we all tried a technique called "Cluster Stamping!" Basically all it is just stamping randomly over an embossing sentiment that was embossed using clear embossing powder! To learn how to do this technique, you can see it here! I had to think a little outside of the box for this because I first stamped the stamp that had the starts on it, but I realized that it had to be a solid stamp! So, I just turned that same circle star stamp upside down & used the other side for my solid circles!

That's it….EASY PEASY!
