CHA 2011 in FUN L.A.!!! - Episode ~160

Good Morning My Creative Friends! WOW, it's been a while! lol..... I have to say that I had the BEST time this weekend! I wanted to thank Sarah for being a FUN roommate!!! L.A. was such a FUN city! We ENJOYED the FOOD, ALL the NICE people we came across everyday we were there & we also had some FUN Adventures! Well, where do I start? Let's start w/our meet & greet Saturday morning! Sarah & I decided to have a meet & greet at our hotel the "Wilshire Grand Hotel" which was in downtown L.A. We met the ladies at one of the lovely restaurants in our hotel! All of us had a BLAST & I just wanted to give a HUGE SHOUT OUT to ALL our "Crafty" ladies who drove some distances just to meet us!!! I felt "Special"!;) Sarah & I REALLY APPRECIATED it! Here are some pics that were taken!

After the meet & greet, Sarah & I just HAD to go across the street & pick up a starbucks before heading to CHA!

Then we FINALLY made it!!!


Our FIRST stop was DCWV!!! We were SOOO LUCKY to have met Erin & she was just as sweet in person as she is on her blog!
Here is a video of this AMAZING space DCWV has created along w/some other booths we visiting along the way!
Met a few FANTASTIC ladies along the way! The FIRST one is MY FAVORITE lady who I just ADORE, "THe Peachy Queen"!! whoohooo!!! I just love this lady as well the the "Peachy Princes" Angelica!!;)

We even got to me the "Cricut Chick"!! How exciting!

I was THRILLED to see Diane w/Capadia

Got to meet "Cat in the Hat"!

Ran into Miss Robyn Pink Stamper!

Got to meet "Miss" Abovie Ruby's Studio herself, Megan!

I Also got to see Tammy Skinner!;)

We even ran into those cute twins from DIY!

NOW, the BRAND NEW Expression! whatcha think?

okay! that's it for now! It's good to be back home! I missed my 3 favorite men like CRAZY!;)  I will be back later w/a video from Saturday night's gala!!!! Have a FABULOUS day!;)

P.S. look where our cricuts were!;)

    OMGosh It really Looks like you guys had a blast! Watch out next year tho (or maybe this summer) Nikki and I are gonna come and its gonna be a Partey up in there!!!!

    Hi Emma! So many great pics! I wish it was opened to the public so we could of met, how fun would of that been. Looks like you had a fun yet busy time at CHA.     Wow, it looks like you all had a fabulous time! How cool to see all the new products. I heard on your video that you do not have the Pagoda cartridge. Well, I picked one up at Michael's for $9.99. It's really not my style so I would love to send it to you if you'll e-mail me your address (christinemriley@gmail.com). I would love to do this, it is my way of saying thank you for all yoru fabulous videos. Without your blog, I don't think I would have gotten back into using my fabulous Cricut and I certainly would have no clue how to use my Gypsy without you. Thanks!

    Hello Emma! Great pictures of CHA. Sorry your little man is sick, hope he feels better soon. Emma I dropped my expression machine. My size button doesn't work. I did call Provo Craft today but no answer. Lucky for my I do have the DS. My husband doesn't know one thing from the other. So I will be ordering the new Expression 2 as soon as it comes out. Yippe for me!!!!

    The Cricut Family look like they are having a relaxing good time. I do like the light on the new Expression. I enjoyed seeing your CHA pictures. You saw a lot of people and had a wonderful time.

    Emma ! What a great video ! Thanks for sharing your insider look into CHA ! I think Sarah was right, you could have died and gone to paper craft heaven! LOL!!! And you know much l loved meeting you! You ARE special and you've taught me so much! I hope we do get to do a fun gathering in CA someday, I would love that!     How fun it that!!! I wish I could have gone.. :( Oh well..maybe next year. But I do have to ask if the Cat in the Hat is a 'hint' about a new cartridge coming out from Cricut!?!?! Oh I soooo hope..we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Cat in the Hat at my house and in my classroom!! Thanks for sharing!!
