For my card today, I wanted to use the same pattern paper that I had used for my layout yesterday HERE.   This is a 6x6 pad I picked up from Hobby Lobby, it is called "Sunshine in my Soul" by GLITZ!  It's an older pad that came out in 2013, but I still LOVE it! ;)  I just did a lot of layering using several of my products! I  have seen a card using this pattern on pinterest about a year ago, so I tried to go by memory & put my own twist on it!  For the sentiment, I used my label maker & layered it onto some fun foam!  You can see a list of products I used below!

I just want to let you know that I will be back w/a video tomorrow!  Since yesterday was Baseball Opening Day, my boys & I got to watch baseball games all day together! ;)  My SF Giants played last & I was SUPER HAPPY that they won! :)  It was my boys last day off, so we wanted to hang out & veg out in front of the TV & have a FUN FILLED DAY of baseball!

Favorite Stamp/Die of the Month & my homework for "Clean & Simple 4" online class

Good morning my sweet friends & welcome to another "My Favorite Stamp/Die of the Month!" 

For today, I am combining 2 things in my post together! The first thing, I am featuring our die of the month which is "Teeny Tag Layering Dies!" You have until Sunday, Jan 31, 2015 to pick this die set up HERE at a sale price! 

The second thing I did today was do a new technique that I learned from the latest "Clean & Simple 4 Online Card Class"  There were a few embossing techniques & right away this one caught my eye because I have never did it before! You all know me, I get BORED EASILY & I LOVE to learn new techniques! Let's just say that I will DEFINITELY be doing this again! The next time I do it, I will do it in a video for you! ;)  

Basically, it's a lot of heat embossing using clear embossing powder! I was able to use for the first time my "Clear Gloss Ultra High" embossing powder by WOW!  I actually LOVED it!!! I picked mine up from my trustee amazon.com HERE!  I also used it on the tags too, but you can't see all the shininess in my pic :(  For my inks, I used my pigment inks from Memento luxe PEAR TART & BAHAMA BLUE! These inks are MY FAVE pigment inks because the colors are BEAUTIFUL & VIBRANT!

Trending Now Thursday ~ Wood & Lace!

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome to another "Trending Now"! 

I was able to sneak in my craft room while my boys were both napping! They are still under the weather, but getting a little better! THANK YOU for your get well wishes for them! ;) 

Okay for our cards today, we have incorporated some kind of lace & wood! It didn't necessarily have to be actual "wood", some of us also used a woodgrain background as well!

For my card, I was able to wipe the dust off of my veneer wood paper I had picked up from Joann's about 4 or 5 years ago! lol…. I was holding on to it & just KNEW I would use it eventually! ;) I LOVE this stuff because this material cuts w/my dies BEAUTIFULLY! I couldn't find a link to this particular paper, but thanks to my team member Miss Nikki, found some HERE if you want to try it out! 

I LOVE this stuff because you can also heat emboss it too! I'm not sure if you can see it or not,  but I used my Grainy Wood Background stamp & heat embossed it onto that piece of veneer wood that everything is layered on top of! I used a embossing powder from WOW -Vintage Champagne & you can find it HERE!

GOOD MORNING & welcome to "My Creative Time"!;) I hope all of you are doing well!  My boys just went back to school yesterday:(  I NEVER like when they have to go back escpecially since I get so used to them just being here w/me, but I kow they need to be at school! Now I just need to get back into the swing of things here! 

Okay, I have a CUTE & VERY SIMPLE card for you today! This card can be done in NO TIME AT ALL.:) All I did was use my "Lower Case Fun Dies" & cut out "love", then used pop dots & added the hemp to make them look like a cute banner! Then I used the word "you" from my "Love Collage Background" stamp! 

Here is the inside of the card using a sentiment from "Lots of Love"! Simple but CUTE & I love how my card came out today!:)

Peachy Tuesday! ~ Episode 306

 

GOOD MORNING & welcome to another "Peachy Tuesday"! I am SOOO EXCITED because I am joining their challenge they have going on right now! I was nervous that I missed it! lol.... Well, you can see ALL the details for the challenge HERE!  

For my card, I made a cute bookmark using Peachy Keen's January Stamp of the Month Kit~! If you have every wanted to be in a "COOL" club, this is the one to be in!;)  Being that this is a Valentine set, I just wanted to show you how you can switch it up & use it throughout the year!

I created a pocket using my XL Label Die & the sentiment came from Just a Little Note to Say...

I added paper from My Mind's Eye & a little twine & I think it came out super cute!;)

Also, I did use the XOXO background stamp on my bookmark along w/a MS punch!

I don't know about all of you, but while I was making this card, the song that kept playing in my head over & over again was "Pocket full of Sunshine"! lol.......
