GOOD MORNING my sweet friends & welcome to another "3-D Wednesday!"
I hope you ALL had a FUN & SAFE Halloween night! For me, I was a little sad that there is no one for me to take trick or treating anymore :( For the last couple of years, since the boys did not want to trick or treat, we started a new tradition! On Halloween night, I would order the pumpkin shaped pizzas from Papa Murphy's & I would pick up the halloween decorated donuts from Krispy Kreme Donuts! Then we would watch a couple of Halloween movies! Since Baby Aaron is in college, his schedule is crazy so we were not able to do anything together as a family last night. :( Plus my hubby goes to bed SUPER EARLY to make it to his early shift!
LUCKILY we celebrated our Halloween on Saturday (that just passed). The other thing that we also did was go to the Haunted house at my son's college that Friday night & we actually had a GREAT time! My hubby & I are LUCKY that my boys even want to be seen in public with us! lol... I'm just so used to kids never wanting to be seen with their parents once they get to a certain age!
So for last night, our community hosts a Trunk or Treat every year & that is where Anthony & I were! We both volunteered to help out because they get over 1000 kids! It's CRAZY! It's nice because the kids get to trick or treat safely and get free hot dogs, a drink AND a churro! ;) Even though it was super busy, we had FUN time!
I was not able to create last night because when we finally made it home, I was EXHAUSTED & my poor feet were killing me! lol.... We ended up walking there because I knew there would be NO parking any where close! It was my fault for my self inflicting pain because I wore the WRONG shoes!!! lol.... ;) I will be back for sure tomorrow with a project! :)

ReplyDeleteWow! Sounds like you have had a few very busy and fun weekends. Remember to wear more comfortable shoes next time. Glad your boys like to hang out with Mom and Dad...I think they always will. Miss Liz did an awesome job on a beautiful carton! I love the flower as a pine cone!

Sounds like you had a fun Halloween... except for the aching feet! Mine was quiet and I stayed home and watched This Is Us!
ReplyDeleteWell Miss Liz did a beautiful job. I have 2 teenage girls and we had to make our Halloween traditions new too, they don't want to trick or treat either. So we buy snack foods and candy and watch movies too.
