YOUR STORY, IMAGINE & GYPSY PROJECT All -In_One!

Good morning & welcome to our 10th day of our 12 Days of Christmas w/my Bestie & I! WOW, I can't believe there are only 2 days left:( Makes me sad because it was GREAT to challenge "Myself" to actually do a project each day for 12 days Straight!  All I have to say about today's project, (like Nikki would say) it is UBER SIMPLE!!! If you look at it, you can't get any simpler than this!;) hehehehe! I was SOOO excited to see my "Your Story" arrived today so I wasted no time & used it! It ONLY takes "90" seconds to bind! EASY PEASY!;) I ALSO used my Imagine & Gypsy to design this Simple, but "Manly" wordsearch/drawing book for my son Anthony! Now I just have one more to make for Baby Aaron! Let me just tell ya that these books would make the PERFECT Stocking Stuffers! You can see in my video how this was put together!

Good Morning My Creative Friends & welcome to day 3 of our "12 Days of Christmas"~! I swear I think Nikki & I share the same brain sometimes! Without planning it (like always) My Bestie & I had used this same cartridge for today's project! Can I just tell you that this DEFINITELY is going to become "One of my FAVORITES"! In my video, I show you how I packaged up the CUTE "Peachy" jewelry I had made yesterday! If you missed it, you can see it all HERE!

"Dia de los Muertos/A Celebration of Life" Blog Hop -Episode~118

Good Morning My Creative Friends!! Welcome to our "Dia de los Muertos/A Celebration of Life" Blog Hop! We decided to call it this because we wanted people to know that it wasn't a hop about honoring death itself.

Here is a litte summary explaining about it for those of you who aren't aware of this celebration:
Day of the Dead (Spanish: Día de los Muertos) is a holiday celebrated in Mexico and other countries. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died. The celebration occurs on November 1 and 2. Traditions connected with the holiday include building private altars honoring the deceased using sugar skulls, marigolds, and the favorite foods and beverages of the departed and visiting graves with these as gifts. Some Chipboard Information! - Episode~92

1st of all, here are a few questions from a few of my youtube subscribers!

QUESTION:
Do you think there's anything wrong with using the Deep Cut Blade all the time if set on a lower blade depth so it can cut cardstock? Just wondering. I've had it for almost a year & never used it @ all. What the thickness of the chipboard you can use with the Deep Blade? The regular blade can take .22, right? I think that's the cereal box size. Where did you get your thicker chipboard at? Wow, a lot of questions. Thanks Emma. XOXO :}

ANSWER:
When I use my Deep Cut blade, it rips my pattern paper all the time:( that's a BIG NO NO for me because I LOVE my pattern paper!:) It works when I cut my Papertrey Inc paper w/o tearing it! But, I would just stick w/the regular blade when cutting cardstock & pattern paper!  You can use your regular blade to cut cereal boxes! just use your multi cut 2 times! JUST TO MAKE SURE!! It can be done w/one cut, but I like it to cut out twice!
The chipboard I used in the video is comparable to "Poster Board"! It comes w/my Stampin Up pattern paper in the back of it! You can see in the video how well it cuts! I use "Light Weight" chipboard, not medium weight because it's too thick for the cricut! Now, if you pick up the poster board, you can use your regular blade & it will cut it out just fine! (I discussed this w/Christina  ~Creations w/Christina!~earlier) So she "Co-signed" this!! lol...

QUESTION:
Thanks Emma, Is that medium wiehgt? I saw some medium weight chipboard on walmaret.com and it said caution not for cricut...it will not cut med weight. Is that true?

ANSWER:
YEP, that's true.

A TIP:
Here is a tip from a demonstrator for Provocraft!
Thanks for sharing this! I am a demonstrator of the Cricut for Provo Craft and this is one of the most asked questions .....how to cut chipboard. Just a tip....you can use chipboard on older mats by simply using painters tape (blue) along the edges to hold it in place. Thanks again!

 "Halloween Sweet Folks"! AND for the 2nd card is the "Reveal" of my Sneak Peek from Saturday! Isn't it just TOO ADORABLE!! I REALLY LOVE how my card turned out! I am ESPECIALLY proud of myself that I actually used my little "Pixie" sewing machine FINALLY!;)

I wasn't satisfied w/how my card came out so I landed up using my sewing machine to sew each of the panels on the front of the card!

My Pink Stamper Challenge! - Episode~57

Good Morning & Welcome to another My Pink Stamper Challenge!! This is a Color challenge & the colors that you have to use are ORANGE, BROWN, PINK & GREEN!  I do have to admit when Robyn mentioned the colors, I said "OH BOY, this is going to be a TOUGH one"!! I guess you don't call them "Challenges" for nothing!! Well, all I have to say is that I was VERY PLEASED w/my end result!! I JUST LOVE LOVE LOVE how my card came out!! I think this may be MY FAVORITE card I've made so far! 1st of all, check out that PERFECT sentiment which is from one of My Pink Stamper's newest release called "Buggy Punnies" this is a GREAT set~ I just love it!  What can I say about those ADORABLE faces, aren't they just the SWEETEST EVER!??! I just want to hug my lion & my giraffe;) lol.....The face stamps are from Peachy Keen Stamps & I used 2 different sets of the Critter faces! I used the Small & the X-Large set which just recently came out ALSO!!
