Happy Monday! Good morning my creative friends & welcome to another "Scrapping the little things!" I'm going to keep this SHORT & SWEET because I have to actually go to bed! lol.... I had a VERY LATE start since I was busy working on "taxes" this weekend & lost track of time! Taxes = NOT MY FAVORITE THING! :( You can see in my video below how I put my "Burlap" layout together!
I think I called this a "canvas" layout in my video, but I MEANT to say "Burlap" layout! ;) I ALSO got to share in my video my new favorite tool by "Clover", the pom pom maker! Thanks to Miss Lori Allred & a little enabling, I picked them up & I LOVE them! You can see how to make them HERE!
GOOD MORNING my creative friends & welcome to another "Scrappin the Little Things"! Well, I hope you ALL had a FABULOUS weekend because I SURE DID!;) My Dad's 84th birthday was last week on the 23rd, but my family got together & celebrated it this past weekend! Can I just say that I have the BESTEST family EVERRRR! Every time we get together, we have the BEST time together & it is simply "PRICELESS"! We ALWAYS look forward to the next function! There is NOTHING BETTER than "family".....simply the BEST!
Okay, for my project today, I decided to do a "Smashbook" page! I just LOVE doing these because there are simply "NO RULES".....just have FUN! Had FUN making this, is EXACTLY what I did! If you are my facebook friend, then many of you have seen this picture already! Not only did my Dad get birthday presents, but we ALL did as well! My sister surprised us w/aprons made out of all of my Dad's older shirts! We were ALL genuinely surprised AND touched because now we all have a little something that is sentimental that belonged to my Dad! This was the bEST idea EVERRR & I was VERY PROUD of my sister for doing this for all of us!
Here, I used my "Gift Card Holder Die" for a little pocket! You can see in my video below exactly what I put in this cute pocket!;)
I hope we all inspired "YOU" to go do some "Scrapping" yourself today!;)

GOOD MORNING my creative friends & welcome to our newest segment here on my blog! It's called "Scrapping the little things"~! This is something my design team & myself will be featuring every other Monday! As you all know, when I returned after being off, I was anxious to come back & just to start ALL OVER AGAIN w/NEW stuff on my blog! Well, with that said, as you all know, "Project Life" & "Smashbooking" are kinda big right now! I know, I am ALWAYS the last person to start something "trendy"! lol..... We will be showcasing smashbooking/project life projects here every other Monday! I hope we will inspire YOU to start something different too!
You can see my very first smashbook pages I did HERE! I REALLY ENJOY "Smashbooking" because there are NO rules & you can make it as casual as you want! The reason why I wanted a smashbook is because I want to record everything in here that is IMPORTANT in my life! It is also fun to put different ideas that you want to remember, future vacations, family gatherings...etc..... I just love it!
For these to pages, I wanted to smash about when my son got his echo-cardiogram which was on the 27th of August! Let's just say that this is the day we got the BEST news that he can go on & start doing anything he wants w/o any limitations!;) As you can see in the picture, he is watching the computer screen as he is getting his echocardiogram! For the background paper, I used some wood grain paper I had in my stash & ran it through my copy machine making a copy of the list of meds that the doctors had sent him home w/in June! I thought it would make a perfect background paper (for what was going on) AND just a reminder that he is DONE w/all of this!:)
Of course, as soon as we got the good news we all had tears of joy!;)
After we left the doctors that day, of course we spent the day SPOILING my baby since he went through sooo much! I thought it was only fitting!;)

UPDATE ON ORDERS!
I just want to give you a quick update! EVERYTHING came in on Friday, August 31st as scheduled! But, we ran a little behind because I had to take my Mom to the ER on Friday afternoon:( With eveything that has happened w/my family, I don't take anything lightly! When my Mom told me that she had a sharp pain in back that went to her chest, my sister & I immediately took her to the ER! She landed up staying overnight in the hospital just so they can run lots of tests on her! THANK GOD the doctors said that she pulled a muscle in her chest! This whole situation just scared me because my cousin had these exact symptons & she did nothing about it & she landed up have a severe stroke! This is why I acted immediately & thankfully it was just a muscle pull! I'd rather be safe than sorry~!
We packaged half the stamps & dies just so we can start getting orders out! We were able to get out over 100 orders! We will continue to finish packing up the rest of the stamps & dies today! We still have lots of orders to fill! Please be patient w/us & they will ALL be out before this week is over! For everyone who placed their orders up to the 23rd of August, I included a little something extra in your packages! My Mom & I wanted to do something to show you that we appreciated your patience! Everyone got something different! Again, THANK YOU for your patience & I can't wait for all of you to get your goodies!:)
GOOD MORNING my creative friends! First up...."Something old"! Okay, today I decided to do something a little different on my blog! Since I had my sale a couple of weeks ago, I wanted to showcase a few older stamps that I know alot of you purchased! I thought I would show you an older project & if you haven't seen it before, then it is new to you!;) I just wanted to give you an example of what can be done w/a few of my stamp/die sets here! You can actually see a video HERE on how I made this card! Remember, this is an OLDER card that I made so when you watch the video, you will see my old "my creative time Girl"! :)
Okie dokie! Now onto my "Something new"!;) I could not wait to play w/this set! I have been dying to make some new tags using one of my "soon to be released" stamp set! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE how this turned out!
I actually stamped the ghosts & cut them out by hand! I stamped the sentiment onto one of the dies from the "Build a Banner" kit!
Well, I hope you enjoyed what you have seen here today! I had someone ask me if there was going to be a release this month & the answer is yes! I already had a LOT done before my son got sick so you will DEFINITELY see some excited new things coming up! On my blog for now, you will be seeing a lot of "Something old" & "Something new"!

Good morning my creative friends! I hope you ALL had a FABULOUS weekend! I sure did! My weekend was filled w/lots of emotion AND excitement! My boys & their team won the Championship in baseball on Saturday! They are FIRST PLACE in their division! It was SO NICE to have My family out supporting the boys since day one, so it was very emotional for all of us! This entire team have worked SO HARD the entire season & it paid off! Now, we are on our way to the "Tournament of Champions"! To be honest w/you, I am SOOO HAPPY they won because I was getting sad that the season was over already!;)
Anyhow, onto my layout today! I decided to go with a 12x12 layout this time & I am SO HAPPY I did! I was able to use my "Lime Twist Collection" by My Minds Eye that I picked up from "My Craft Channel"!
