GOOD Morning my sweet friends & welcome to another "Try Me Tuesday!"
I was a little skeptical about this technique at first, but once I figured out my colors of ink, this card was the QUICKEST card to make EVER!!! :) So, today we all tried a technique called "Cluster Stamping!" Basically all it is just stamping randomly over an embossing sentiment that was embossed using clear embossing powder! To learn how to do this technique, you can see it here! I had to think a little outside of the box for this because I first stamped the stamp that had the starts on it, but I realized that it had to be a solid stamp! So, I just turned that same circle star stamp upside down & used the other side for my solid circles!
Good morning my creative friends & welcome to another "Inspire Me Tuesday!" Today is the day that my design team & myself use something as inspiration for our projects! For today, my inspiration was this cutie Barbie doll you see above! I used to watch Project Runway & the designer of this outfit was a very good friend of my niece! I didn't know him personally, but I thought it would be cool to pick up the Barbie that HIS outfit won! She sits right here in my craft room & all the colors in her outfit totally inspired my card for today!
My card is SUPER SIMPLE! Basically, I just used most of the colors from her dress & stamped the cameras using a variety of Hero Arts ink! That's IT! EASY PEASY! :)
I hope you ALL were inspired here today! OH, I have some pretty FUN news to share w/you today! Miss Katie Jones, one of my design team members, created a searchable PDF catalogue to help you find that EXACT sentiment you are looking for! You can see more details on her blog HERE! This is a GREAT tool to use when looking for a particular sentiment! If you want a birthday sentiment, if you type in birthday, all the stamps will come up that has a birthday sentiment in it! VERY CLEVER idea Miss Katie came up with & I LOVE it! :)
I just have a couple of reminders for you!
1. We have a FUN Challenge going on HERE right now! Hope to see LOTS of you playing along!
2. MCT is having a design team call for 2014! See HERE for ALL the details!
Have a FABULOUS day & THANK YOU for stopping by! xoxo
Good Morning, this is Cathryn from In The Pink. Today it's my turn to Host the Designer's Challenge! I know a lot of the children have already gone back to school but my kids are not back for another 3 weeks! I will MISS them so much! Which got me thinking about something I would like to surprise them with when they are at school.
I decided my CHALLENGE would be:
Make a card or 3d project for Back to School. A little something encouraging to slip in a back pack, lunch bag or brief case (if you have no one going back to school!)
I made a little package to cover some hilarious sticky note flags and some pencils.
I used the Vintage Stitched Label die to make the note pack. I scored where the tag would wrap around and I attached an eyelet to each side. I wrapped the pencils in a little bit of patterned paper and attached them to the back with a small pop dot. Then I ran some twine through the eyelets and tied a bow on top of the pencils.
I hope you enjoyed my project for today. I would LOVE for you to play along with the challenge! Now here's what Emma and the Design Team has done for you!
Isn't this a FUN CHALLENGE? I hope to see LOTS of you playing along w/us! Okay, for my project today, I created some FUN & SUPER CUTE lunchbox notes for my boys lunches! I just LOVE how they came out!! Here are the 3x3 trifold cards.
These are the matching 3x3 envelopes that my cards will go into!

Hello everyone! This is Cassandra and I'm back to host another Designer Challenge. Last time I hosted the challenge, the goal was to use the colors of the rainbow. So this time I decided to change it up a bit. Are you ready?
The guidelines for this challenge: Make a project of your choice using only BLACK & WHITE! eek! That's right ~ no color, just black and white cardstock, embellishments, fibers, photos, etc.
This past weekend, I hosted a Bridal Bunch for my BFF and this was the pretty card I made for her.
I cut the scalloped square with my Cameo and a file from the Silhouette Online Store. The pretty hearts are cut using the heart die from the MCT ~ 100% Sweetness. The "For your Wedding Shower" sentiment is from the MCT ~ More Gift Card Sentiments. The label is from the MCT ~ Vintage Stitched Label Dies. I cut the wedding dress with my Cameo and a file from the Silhouette Online Store.
I hope you like it! For more information, head on over to my blog for all the fun details. Now let's take a look at what the rest of the Design Team has created.
Good morning my creative friends! :) Aren't all of these Black & White projects AWESOME??? My design team made it look SOOOO easy, but I had a hard time because I kept trying to add color when I wasn't supposed to! lol.... Well, I actual like how my card came out! You can see in my video below how I put it together!
